There are significant differences between coarse jaw crusher and fine jaw crusher in many aspects, which are mainly reflected in appearance, feed inlet, discharge inlet, output, application field and working principle. The following is a detailed analysis of the difference between the two:
1. Appearance and structure
Coarse jaw crusher: The appearance is tall and thin, and the corresponding parts are larger, and the equipment volume is relatively large.
Fine jaw crusher: The appearance is short and wide, and the corresponding parts are smaller, and the equipment volume is relatively small.
2. Feed inlet and discharge inlet
Feed inlet: The feed inlet of coarse jaw crusher is larger, and it can directly process large pieces of materials with a particle size of up to 1200mm, which is suitable for coarse crushing such as large stones. The feed inlet size of fine jaw crusher is slightly smaller, and the feed particle size generally does not exceed 260mm. It is mainly used to process stones after coarse crushing.
Discharge inlet: The discharge inlet of coarse jaw crusher is set wider, and the discharge particle size range is between 10-350mm, which can be adjusted according to needs. The discharge port of the fine jaw crusher is set finer, and the discharge particle size range is between 15-90mm, and the discharge particle size is finer.
3. Output and efficiency
Output: The production efficiency of the coarse jaw crusher is higher, and the hourly production capacity can reach 1,200 tons, which is suitable for large-scale production. The production efficiency of the fine jaw crusher is relatively low, and the hourly production range is about 15-105 tons, which is suitable for occasions with low production requirements.
Efficiency: The coarse jaw crusher has a high crushing efficiency because of its large feed port, large crushing ratio and stable operation. However, the fine jaw crusher needs to be repeatedly ground and crushed, and the material crushing particle size is finer, so the crushing time is relatively long and the efficiency is slightly lower.
4. Application field
Coarse jaw crusher: Mainly used in the initial crushing position of the sand and gravel production line, that is, the first crushing process, for coarse crushing of large stones. Because of its stable operation, large crushing ratio and low operating cost, coarse jaw crushers can be seen in many sand and gravel crushing and sand making sites.
Fine jaw crusher: It is mostly used for secondary crushing of stone production lines, that is, medium and fine crushing after coarse crushing. Due to its low price and fine crushing particle size, many people use it instead of impact crusher or cone crusher. Fine jaw crusher is widely used in metallurgy, mining, cement and other industries.
5. Working principle
Both adopt the extrusion crushing method, and the crushing chamber is composed of two jaw plates, the movable jaw and the static jaw, to simulate the movement of the two jaws of animals to complete the operation. However, the fine jaw crusher requires more grinding and extrusion during the crushing process to achieve a finer discharge particle size.
In summary, there are significant differences between the coarse jaw crusher and the fine jaw crusher in appearance, feed port, discharge port, output, application field and working principle. When choosing, it should be comprehensively considered according to the actual production needs and material characteristics.
